Biography

Rachel serves as a consultant and legal assistant for BraunHagey. She was most recently employed as a molecular virologist in the biodefense and bioterrorism program at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. Rachel has over ten years of experience in professional science, with a strong background in QA/QC and regulatory compliance. She has also worked as an editing assistant for several prominent philosophy and bioethics journals such as the Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, American Journal of Bioethics, and Healthcare Ethics Forum.

Rachel’s scientific publications can be found in such journals as the Journal of Infectious Diseases, Clinical Infectious Diseases, mBio, and Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses.
