Biography
Jonathan Kortmansky is a partner and also serves as general counsel to the firm at BraunHagey & Borden. Jonathan represents clients in high stakes litigation and trials. He has tried cases all over the country on behalf of publicly traded companies, financial institutions, closely held corporations and high net worth individuals. He has represented clients in criminal and regulatory proceedings before the SEC, CFTC and DOJ.
Jonathan’s clients have included Pfizer, Eisai, Thomson S.A., UniCredit SpA, UniCredit Bank Austria, Thrivent Financial and Stone Ridge Asset Management among others. He has handled and won multiple cross-border disputes and has won cases involving complex commercial disputes, class actions, securities, patents, trusts and estates, bankruptcy, corporate control among others. He and his matters have been regularly featured in Law360 and other publications.
Personal
Jonathan lives in NYC. During his free time, he loves to play golf, ski, hike, play chess and read interesting books.
