Kelsie served as second chair on a team representing biopharmaceutical firm Xequel Bio, Inc. in a dispute with its former CEO concerning the CEO’s secret involvement with a competing biopharmaceutical start-up. Following expedited forensic discovery, BHB obtained partial summary judgment in Xequel’s favor. The case resolved shortly thereafter on favorable terms for our client.

Kelsie serves as second chair on a team representing Barnard College, through the College Board of Managers of the Cathedral Gardens Condominium, in construction-defect litigation against the building’s sponsor and its affiliated general contractor. The Upper Manhattan building, which houses Barnard faculty and students alongside a residential condominium, has pervasive code violations and departures from its plans and specifications. With millions of dollars in damages at stake, trial is scheduled for fall.

Kelsie serves as co-lead counsel representing an online marketplace in over 30 breach of contract arbitrations, having secured favorable awards in each of the more than ten arbitrations that have proceeded to an award.
